Chuck and Ryan were asked to be guests on the great podcast Alt3red Egos. It was a Transformers extravaganza as X, Glen, Chuck and Ryan all discuss the property itself, and dive into the toys, cartoons, and movies. Then they have an in depth look at the comic series done by Marvel, Dream Wave, and currently IDW. They close up covering the first issue of Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye from IDW. So sit back, enjoy, and roll out!!

WOW! What an episode. This was like … food for the soul. Who where those knowledgeable and unimaginably attractive and modest gents on the show???

Seriously guys, Cuban and I had a BLAST with Ryan and Chuck. Hell, we were only going to do a one hour show that ran for like 2+!

Can’t wait until we get to have you guys back for the Reel Deal by Alt3red Egos for the G.I. Joe Movie!

    Keep up the good work!

PS I double checked and I did have one Gobot. Psycho. I can’t quite decide if the robot was bad ass or not? The car was hands down!

Remember, its “G1 or go home,” So sayeth the Champ! Preach on Chuck!

I had several of the Go-bots, Wrong Way and Tux were a few of my favorites. And Wrong Way was another whose head was completely hidden.

I Still don’t understand the Beast Wars hate, cause its the best Transformers incarnation since G1!! But I loved the show regardless, it was excellent!

Just to clear up, for the record, X and Chuck were the ones hating on Beast Wars. Glenn and I both are fans of the series and characters.

Chuck has a hard time accepting different takes on characters he knows from an original run. The reason he likes IDW G.I. Joe is because it’s similar to the G.I. Joe he grew up with. Where he didn’t like G.I. Joe Future Noir and took a while to warm up to G.I. Joe: Renegades because they were so different from what he knew in the past. He has said that if they put the old cartoons up on the big screen at a movie theater, he would pay money to go see them again. He doesn’t care if they rehash the same thing over and over again. He’s funny like that.

In regards to the Gobots, I think we mention this on one of our next shows, or if we didn’t, we will, but the faces showing on the Gobots was more of a reference to the cartoon where many times their faces were still showing. The toys did a pretty good job to hide their faces.

Thanks for all the awesome comments, everyone!!
