Great Episode, Gentlemen. Shannon seems like a pretty cool guy, and I am totally digging his art on GI Joe. I was on the fence about it at first but I think that’s because it was such a different vibe than Padilla’s, whose art I did enjoy. I look forward to working with Shannon when I take over the ARAH title for Hama!

I wanted to share my Adam Hughes experience from a few years back. I had a table at Wizard World Chicago where I was trying to hock a few comics. The table was right next to Adam, so I sat next to him several hours a day four days in a row. I had maybe said one or two things to him the entire weekend, and he had said even less to me. I don’t think he was being rude because the man was insanely busy, I don’t think there was a single moment of those three days where he didn’t have his face on the page staring at cartoon cleavage. The most frustrating part of hanging out next to Adam Hughes was the never ending line of nerdy pervs with semi-swollen chubbies blocking my table. As most nerdy pervs do in anticipation of their very own scantily clad Cat Woman sketch, they nervously stared at the floor or into their own spank bank of a sketchbook, and didn’t even glance at the spectacularly awesome comics right in front of them. They also didn’t give anyone else the chance to either. Who’s going to walk up to a table in artist alley when it’s seemingly guarded by unwashed erect fanboys?

Anyway, thanks for an entertaining listen. I Hope you can have Shannon on again soon!

Chuck made me aware today that it didn’t show up in iTunes for him either. It’s weird because I downloaded it from iTunes shortly after posting it. It must be something with Podbean or iTunes. If it is not showing up by tomorrow, then I’ll email Podbean to see why there is a problem. Thanks for letting me know. It should have been there already.

How can you not like Young Guns? I loved that movie. I can understand ifyou didn’t care for the sequel (though I kind of liked that one too), but the first movie is great. I won’t hold it against Shannon though. I’ll still buy his books.
