In the first listener response episode of 2012, Ryan and Chuck discuss once again the battle between Snake-Eyes and Boba Fett, collecting comics & toys, and their favorite 80's crush. Unfortunately it will be another year of pain, as the champion of the Star Joes Fantasy Football League is announced. And the guys talk about the various versions of Transformers that have been in existence. Enjoy the total free-flow episode.

Great show…AGAIN!!! I was pretty tanked. I did forget to mention what pissed me off with the WOJM podcast. It was the comment by one of the guys about the artwork of the Snake Eyes series. Even if you do not like the art, simply say that and move on. Don’t rip on the artist. He is working for IDW so give the guy some credit. He did something right to get the job. Everyone has there own art style.

Congrats on the fantasy football win!!! WOOO HOOOOO!!!

I can feel for the commenter on getting burned out on collecting at times. I go through fazes with collecting as well. I recommend taking a break for a bit then re-evaluate. Do not do anything rash.

I will try to call again…….It depends on how drunk I get.

    Lot’s of love.

Great episode guys :) It’s great to sit back relax and just listen to guys talk about toys, movies, and comics.

Glad to see some Kkruhk love. I never expected Kkruhk to have such a cult following. Now that i finally find your guys’ forum i’ll post in there now.

My name isn’t Roger it’s Harley, I have no idea where Roger came from. Funny as hell tho lol.

From now on you are Roger. We don’t let people use their own names. LOL

Just kidding. Your email was right above the guy we referred to as Duke on the episode and his name was Roger. I just was copying things down too fast.

    I blame Chuck.

Hey guys, awesome show! I discovered Star Joe’s after Chuck’s guest spot on What’s on Joe Mind. Since then I’ve had a chance to go back and listen to several of your past shows, and I must say that this is one of the best Podcasts I’ve ever listened too, and I enjoy just as much if not more than WOJM.

GI Joe is one of my favorite things in the world, I love it more than my kids…okay, not really, but some days!

I’m also a big Transformers Fan, with Beast Wars being my favorite incarnation. I even have the Maximal insignia tattoo to prove it. Beast Wars hit at the same time GI Joe went away, so it was their to fill the deep void in my life when no other toy line could. Beast Wars is what opened my eyes to other Transformer series, and have been an avid toy collector ever since. I really think Chuck is missing out!

Now I have to admit that I am not a big Star Wars fan. I’ve seen the movies, and like the original trilogy but didn’t care for the other three. This point brings me to a question regarding the Snake Eyes vs Boba Fett death match. I’m well aware of Snake Eyes’ super human ninjabilities, but am not too familiar with Boba fett other than watching him go down in “Return of the Jedi” like a lil bitch. Everyone, not just you guys, but ‘everyone’ makes Boba Fett out to be a super badass. Can you recommend some specific Expanded Universe reading starring Boba Fett that showcases his badassery. Either comics or novels are great, I am looking forward to learning more about this character.

Thanks, and keep up the stupendous work!

P.S. I subscribe to the show through Itunes, so look for my Itunes review soon, and Chuck had better get some nice thoughts about X-Men circulating through that cranium
